-
Pierre Laganiere - Jr. A Head Coach
Pierre has established himself as one of the premier coaches in the Southern Tier. With over six years of professional playing experience and over sixteen years coaching, Pierre brings a valuable veteran outlook to the Jr. Senators' bench.
Following an illustrious junior hockey career with the Sherbrooke Beavers of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Pierre was drafted by the New York Rangers 78th overall in the 1973 National Hockey League amateur draft. That same year, Pierre was also drafted into the WHA with the 107th pick by the Vancouver Blazers. Laganiere completed several successful professional seasons with the Providence Reds of the American Hockey League as well as seeing some time in the Swedish Premier League with Goteborg.
In 1976, Pierre became a Binghamton Duster where he logged 48 goals and 79 assists in 74 games. Following parts of three seasons with the Dusters, Pierre has remained in Binghamton and has become one of the most successful and respected coaches in the Binghamton area.
Pierre's coaching experience began over twenty years ago and has extended throughout the levels of hockey. While serving as head coach for his son's travel teams from mites through bantams, Pierre led his teams to numerous sectional titles, including back-to-back central section championships in 1999-2000 and 2000-2001. In the 2000-01 season, the Binghamton Jr. Rangers Bantam travel team won the New York State title and placed fourth in the national tournament under Pierre's tutelage. As head coach of the Binghamton Jr. C team in 2001-02, his team earned a berth to Jr. C Nationals. Last year, Laganiere served as Head Coach of the Binghamton Jr. A Senators and was named the AJHL Coach of the Year for the 2006-2007 season. -
Dustin Good - Jr. A Assistant Coach
Dustin is a native of Northeastern Pennsylvania and played his youth hockey in the Atlantic District before moving on to play for the Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School in Pennsylvania for three years where he also played lacrosse. Upon graduating in 2004 Good played his junior hockey for both the Syracuse Stars and the Binghamton Jr. Senators under Coach Pierre Laganiere.
Last year Good led the Binghamton Jr. C Senators, the youngest team in their league, to the league playoffs and was named coach of the year. Prior to the 2007-2008 season Good served as an assistant coach with the Binghamton Jr. Senator's bantams. Good has also coached in the Keystone State Summer Games since 2003, leading the East Region's Girls Under-20 team to the gold in each of the past three seasons. Coach Good also works with various AAA Selects programs during the spring and summer months. Coach Good's enthusiasm for the game and his players are a testament to his commitment to player development, both on and off the ice.
Good currently attends SUNY Cortland and is majoring in History and Communications. After graduating in December, Good plans on continuing his education at the graduate level.
Pete Fiorentino - Jr. B Head Coach
The Binghamton Junior Senators added former Binghamton Ranger Peter Fiorentino to their roster of coaches for the 2007/2008 season. Fiorentino is the head coach for the Bs and cites his love for teaching as a main reason for his interest in coaching hockey.
After spending four seasons in the OHL with the Sault-Ste. Marie Greyhounds, Fiorentino was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft and spent the next seven years in their organization. Following his time with the Rangers, he spent the next two seasons playing in the IHL for the Las Vegas Thunder, Indianapolis Ice, and the Quebec Rafales. He returned to the Rangers in 1997 and played his final two seasons with the Binghamton Rangers and the Hartford Wolfpack of the AHL. Making his NHL debut with the New York Rangers in 1991-92, Fiorentino was a stalwart on Binghamton's blue line and eventually retired from professional hockey in 1998 to pursue a teaching career. During his tenure, he established Binghamton Ranger records for games played (421) and penalty minutes (1,659). He was elected into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003 and was elected into The Niagara Falls Wall of Fame in 2005.
Peter brings an additional eye to the defensive side of the game and is a strict disciplinarian when it comes to defensive zone coverage. Peter's personality and humor adds to the off-ice persona of any team he is coaching.
Currently, Peter resides in Vestal, NY with his wife Jeri and his three children Brett, Andrew, and Taylor Rose. Off the ice, Peter is employed with the Union Endicott Central School District, where he teaches ninth grade Global History and Geography.Jim O'Brien - Jr. B Assistant Coach

From the Jr. Sabres Moses moved on to play for the prestigious Elmira College Soaring Eagles. At Elmira Moses was both team captain and an All American.
He has coached at every level of youth hockey and last year served as assistant coach for the Binghamton Jr. Senators. Equally talented behind the bench as he was a player Moses is a valuable asset to the Binghamton Jr. Senators Junior Hockey Program.
